8a Bienal de Video y Nuevos Medios de Santiago: Ciudad, Ciudadanos, Ciudadanía

· En plena primavera, el MAC Quinta Normal cambia momentáneamente su horario diurno a vespertino para recibir la nueva versión de la Bienal de Video y Nuevos Medios (BVNM), un encuentro que desde 1993 se ha transformado en el espacio sistemático más importante de promoción de las últimas tendencias del videoarte, tecno-arte y media-arts.

· Dos hechos inéditos marcan la 8va BVNM: la inclusión de un eje temático dedicado a la vida en las grandes urbes contemporáneas y la presencia de una decena de destacados artistas extranjeros en residencia, provenientes de Argentina, Bélgica, Canadá, Eslovenia, entre otros. Cada uno de ellos tendrá una sala en el MAC donde exhibirán las obras que realizaron en Chile, en áreas como la robótica, el video y telepresencia, además de dictar charlas y talleres para público y especialistas.
